Steady Sit & Seat Any Sim

Sims in The Sims 4 love standing up at the worst time. You place them at a table, start a family dinner, prepare a scene for screenshots, and suddenly everyone walks away. The Steady Sit & Seat Any Sim mod helps with that problem by making sitting feel more stable and easier to control.

This mod adds new seating options for chairs, dining tables, beds, pool edges, the floor, sleeping bags, romantic blankets, and other sittable spots. The main Steady Sit interaction makes Sims stay in place longer, while still allowing seated actions like chatting or reading.

You can also seat several Sims at once with Seat Sims Here, send one Sim to find a random seat with Take a Seat, or use Seat All Diners in restaurants so Sims return to their claimed tables. If you need to end the effect, Leave Seat lets them stand up again.

By default, Sims can stay seated for up to 240 Sim minutes. Optional add-ons can change this to 60, 120, 180, or 360 minutes, so you can choose what fits your gameplay best.

This is not a super strict lock. Sims may still get up for important needs, reactions, or actions that require standing. XML Injector is required for the mod to work.
