Display of Affection Mod

Display of Affection Mod gives romance in Sims 4 a softer and more personal feeling. Instead of only using the usual romantic socials, your Sims can show love in different ways, depending on what kind of affection feels right for them.

The mod adds new love language traits that can be selected in CAS. Sims can have more than one, so couples do not need to feel the same to still match well together.

Love Feels More Personal

The included love languages are Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Acts of Service, Gift Giving, and Physical Touch. Each one comes with its own custom wants, making romantic Sims feel a bit more specific and less generic.

Your Sims can also get new romantic interactions with custom animations, new buffs, and relationship gain. The DOA pie menu appears after Sims have had their First Kiss, so it fits naturally into a romantic story instead of showing too early.

There are some small known issues, such as Sims slightly jumping when height changes happen during animations. The creator also notes that the interaction choices can disappear sometimes, but they should return after the DOA menu is activated again.
