More Traits in CAS Mod
More Traits in CAS Mod is one of those small changes that can make character creation feel much better. Instead of being limited to only a few personality choices, you can give your Sims more traits directly in CAS and build characters that feel more complete.
The mod lets Young Adults, Adults, and Elders use up to 5 traits. Teens can have 4, Children can have 3, and Toddlers can have 2. It also affects lot traits, allowing up to 5 lot traits because of how the game connects these systems.
More Room for Personality
This mod is useful if you often feel that three traits are not enough. Maybe your Sim is creative, clumsy, family-oriented, romantic, and also loves dogs. Normally, you would have to remove something, but with More Traits in CAS, you can keep more of the personality you imagined.
It works for new Sims, and you can also edit existing Sims with cheats like cas.fulleditmode. Existing Sims will not automatically get extra traits unless you edit them or they age up.
Version 2d was updated for Patch 1.121 and also brought back PlumbBuddy support.
A few important notes:
- Base game compatible
- Infants stay at 1 trait
- You do not have to fill every trait slot
- Custom traits can work, but old broken traits may need updates
- Regular version should be used unless you specifically need the Chingyu compatible version
Before You Download
More Traits in CAS is best for players who enjoy detailed Sims and want more control during character creation. It does not force anything complicated into the game. It simply gives more space for traits, which makes storytelling and family gameplay feel more flexible.
Just make sure your mod file matches your game version. Also, do not install both the regular version and the Chingyu compatible version at the same time. Choose only the one you actually need.
