Eye Care Mod
Eye Care is a realistic Sims 4 mod by adeepindigo that adds vision health to your game. Sims can now have eyesight problems, visit an optometrist, wear glasses or contacts, and deal with small eye-related moodlets during everyday life.
The mod works well for family saves, realistic stories, and players who like small health details without turning the game into something too complicated. It gives Sims another simple part of life to manage, especially if they spend a lot of time reading, using computers, watching TV, or studying.
Vision Exams and Eye Conditions
Your Sims can schedule an eye exam through the phone. During the visit, they may be checked for conditions like nearsightedness, farsightedness, cataracts, glaucoma, or conjunctivitis.
Some problems can be handled with glasses or contacts, while others may need treatment. Young Adult and Adult Sims can also get laser eye surgery for some vision issues.
The mod also adds eye strain, headaches, blurry vision, and a few social interactions related to glasses and eyesight. These details are small, but they make Sims feel more personal and less generic.
Requirements and Compatibility
Eye Care is Base Game compatible and works for Children to Elders. It does not require Private Practice, Slice of Life, Healthcare Redux, XML Injector, Lot 51 Core Library, or any extra library mod.
There is also a vision insurance system. If an adult Sim in the household has a job, the family can get a discount on exams and surgery.
Eye Care is a good choice if you want a light health system that adds realism without too much micromanagement. It fits naturally into long saves and gives your Sims a few extra everyday details.
