WonderfulWhims by TURBODRIVER adds more depth to attraction, relationships, pregnancy, and personal preferences in The Sims 4. Sims no longer choose romantic partners only because the player tells them to. Their appearance, personality, and individual preferences can affect how they see each other.

This is the non-explicit alternative to WickedWhims. It includes many of its social and pregnancy systems without adult animations or nudity.

Attraction is different for every Sim

Sims can develop preferences based on hair color, body shape, clothing style, age, voice, and other details. One Sim may find someone attractive while another feels nothing. Preferences can form naturally or be changed manually through the settings.

The impressions system also gives Sims an opinion about the personalities of people they meet. Special interactions let them discuss these impressions and express which personality types they enjoy or dislike.

Cycles, fertility, and birth control

WonderfulWhims introduces a complete menstrual cycle with periods, changing fertility, and hormonal effects. Sims can purchase pads and tampons, take fertility awareness tests, or receive fertility treatment when trying to have a baby.

Condoms and birth control pills can reduce the chance of pregnancy. If you prefer a simpler system, the detailed cycle can be replaced with fixed pregnancy percentages. Pregnancy duration and several related settings can also be adjusted.

More control over relationships

• create open or exclusive relationships;
• change jealousy rules for individual Sims;
• allow multiple committed partners;
• give Sims special Wonderful Attributes;
• adjust fertility and cycle length;
• invite several Sims to stay overnight;
• make repeated conversations cause boredom.

Most systems can be disabled separately, so you do not have to use everything at once. The settings are available directly inside the game and can be changed for the whole save or selected Sims.

WonderfulWhims does not require any expansion packs or additional mods. Extract the downloaded archive and place the WonderfulWhimsMod folder directly inside the Mods folder. Script Mods must be enabled. Do not install WonderfulWhims together with WickedWhims because the two mods conflict.

Version 60 supports The Sims 4 update 1.125.59 from June 30, 2026.
