Romantica Lover Types

Romantica: A Lover's Type Mod is made for players who want romance to feel less flat. It lets you give a Sim their own lover style, so relationships can feel softer, messier, colder, sweeter, or more dramatic depending on the type you choose.

Different Love Styles for Different Sims

The mod includes 6 lover types for Young Adult to Elder Sims. Each type changes the way a Sim can act in romantic situations and adds new interactions under the Romance menu.

• Response notifications so the interaction feels more alive
• Option to remove, randomize, or give more than one lover type

The interactions are user-directed, so they should not constantly appear on their own. That makes the mod better for storytelling because you decide when the moment fits the couple.

To choose a type, enable cheats, shift-click your Sim, and open the Romantica menu. The selected lover type will show in the Sim's personality panel, which makes it easy to remember what kind of romantic energy that Sim has.

Romantica works with the base game, but you need XML Injector installed for the mod to function correctly.
