Eating at Table Override

Eating at Table Animation Override is a small but noticeable Sims 4 mod for players who pay attention to everyday details. Instead of using the regular EA eating animations, Sims get cleaner and simpler table poses while eating.

Cleaner Eating Moments for Your Sims

The override works when Sims sit at dining tables, picnic tables, desk tables, and booths. It is made for teen to elder Sims and changes the usual eating movement into something calmer and more natural for screenshots, family meals, restaurants, or simple home scenes.

There are separate animation styles based on gender, and the creator also allows switching styles with another related mod. This is useful if you want more control over how each Sim looks while eating.

Where This Override Applies

This mod focuses only on table eating, so it does not try to replace every food animation in the game. It covers normal eating, poor or spoiled food reactions, sad mood eating, and a few idle variations. Hand-held foods like ice cream cones or lollipops are not affected.

The mod has also been updated with booth support, better fork placement, and sound fixes for hand-held food animations. For a small override, it can make meals feel less stiff without changing the whole food system.
