SimDa Dating App

SimDa Dating App by LittleMsSam adds a dating app to The Sims 4. Sims can open it on their phone and arrange different types of meetings with other Sims. The mod gives more options for starting relationships or having casual encounters without the usual social buildup.

It works with the base game and requires the XML Injector. Most extra options come as separate add-ons that you can install or leave out.

Date Options

The main choices are Specific Date, Blind Date, and One Night Stand. With a Specific Date you pick the Sim you want to meet and choose a public lot. After the date ends, your Sims get a Bad, Good, or Awesome result depending on how it went. An Awesome date can unlock a special relationship status if both Sims stay interested.

A Blind Date works in a similar way, but the other Sim is chosen for you. You can limit it by gender if you want. One Night Stand is different. The chosen Sim comes to your home lot right away, and romantic interactions are available without building friendship first. You can use any woohoo option that already exists in the game.

Extra Features

You can turn on Hook Up Calls so NPCs sometimes invite your Sim out. Accepting sends your Sim away for a couple of hours. There is also a chatroom on computers and tablets where Sims can flirt online and gain a little romance and friendship.

Optional add-ons let you change pregnancy chances from one-night stands and hook-up calls, limit matches to single Sims only, or keep blind dates within the same age group. These settings make it easier to match the mod to the kind of stories you want to tell.
