WonderfulWhims Mod

WonderfulWhims by TURBODRIVER expands relationships, attraction, and pregnancy in The Sims 4. It keeps the game close to the original style, but gives Sims more personal preferences and more control over how relationships develop. The mod is a good choice for players who want deeper romance and family gameplay without the adult content included in WickedWhims. Most features can also be changed or disabled in the settings.

Attraction and Personality Matter More

WonderfulWhims gives every Sim their own attraction preferences. Hair, clothing style, body shape, accessories, and other details can affect who they find attractive. Sims can also have Personality Archetypes that influence compatibility and first impressions. Two Sims with similar personalities may connect faster, while others can take longer to build chemistry.

You can edit attraction preferences yourself or let the game generate them automatically. This makes dating less predictable and gives different households their own relationship stories.

More Control Over Pregnancy and Relationships

The mod adds a menstrual cycle with periods, fertility changes, and birth control. Sims can use condoms or birth control pills, track fertility, and plan pregnancy with more control than in the base game. If you prefer simpler gameplay, the menstrual cycle can be disabled. WonderfulWhims also includes optional relationship settings, such as open relationships and individual jealousy controls. The mod does not require any expansion packs or additional mods. Script Mods must be enabled in Game Options. WonderfulWhims should not be installed together with WickedWhims because the two mods conflict. Keep only the latest version in your Mods folder and check for updates after major Sims 4 patches. For players who want more detailed attraction, romance, and pregnancy systems, WonderfulWhims adds useful depth without making everyday gameplay difficult to manage.
