Expanded Pregnancy Interactions

Expanded Pregnancy Interactions by LoryNa gives pregnant Sims far more to do than wait for the next trimester in The Sims 4. A pregnancy app appears on the phone, a doula can be hired, and the computer gets research and birth video interactions. After the birth, a baby app and new newborn interactions keep the story going.

Version 3.4.6 needs XML Injector, Lumpinou's Mood Pack and the Lot 51 Core Library. It also works with PandaSama's Childbirth mod and adds extra options when both are installed.

Pregnancy, Step by Step

The My Pregnancy app shows the current trimester, how big the baby is and tips for that stage. Sims can chat with other parents-to-be and shop for baby gear in the NooBoo Shop. A doula, Juno Taweret, can be booked from the phone for §250. Your Sim can vent to her, ask for advice or talk through fears about childbirth and parenting.

On the computer, Sims can look up early pregnancy symptoms, read about changes in the body and watch videos of different birth types. Complete all of that, read the doula's book, and your Sim earns the Prepared Parent trait, which slows need decay in later pregnancies. Older children can also ask their parent about the new sibling.

After the Baby Arrives

• My Baby app – baby info, services and supplies in one place
• Newborn interactions – sing a lullaby, smell the baby, trim nails, check breathing or daydream about the future
• Baby photoshoot – a paid session that leaves a framed photo in the household inventory
• Babywearing – carry the newborn while doing everyday tasks

Maternity clothes are included in CAS. The separate Maternity Shop add-on needs High School Years and is not part of this file.
